Trincadeira / Aragonez Monsaraz

Grape variety: Aragonez

Climate: Mediterranean climate with very hot, dry summers and cool winters with concentrated periods of rain (600mm/year). In the summer season there are great thermal amplitudes, with sunshine of over 3000 hours per year.

Colour: Wine of a dark garnet colour .

Aroma: With aromas of blackberries, jams, peat, hints of vanilla and toasted coconut.

Palate: In the mouth it is smooth, embodied with firm tannins and it has a prolonged after taste with notes of wood.

Ageing and Consumption: The bottles shall be laid down in a cool place (around 12ºC), with the wine being in contact with the cork. This wine may be drunk immediately, or should you prefer, you can let it age 4 to 6 years.

Gastronomy: It is a good accompaniment to soft cheeses. It should be drunk at a temperature of 18ºC.
