Climate and Soil
In Alter Pedroso, where the vineyard is located, the climate is typically Mediterranean, characterized by dry and hot summers that allow for optimal maturation of the vines.
With an altitude of approximately 400m, it allows a thermal amplitude of around 15º during the summer between dawn and midday. The soil is clay-limestone which explains the quality, finesse and uniqueness of each of the region's wines.
Harvest and Winemaking
Manual harvest, selected for 15 kg boxes. Total stalking and crushing. Cold static decantation, followed by fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 14°- 16ºC.
Subsequent aging under fine lees, in stainless steel tanks until bottling.
Tasting Notes
Bright yellow.
It reveals a citrus profile, lemon peel and floral notes, with emphasis on orange blossom.
Good balance of acidity with a long and persistent finish. To serve at a temperature between 10 and 12°C.
Ideal to accompany baked fish dishes, rice dishes with broth and game meat stews.
