This wine is the result of my incessant search for very old vines in Serra de São Mamede, 700 meters above sea level. I have been recovering them over the years.
It was aged for 24 months in used French oak barrels brought from Burgundy, to preserve the vineyard's identity.

Tasting Notes
Very dark red color, almost black. The notes of ripe and intense fruit, without any excess maturation, with notes of tobacco and a mineral background accompanied by flavours of vegetable that adds an unusual complexity and tension. Lively and powerful, austere but delicate, it surprises with intense but serene tannins, finishing fresh and vigorous.
