Herdade do Pinheiro Vinhas Novas Red 2011

Grape varieties: 70% Syrah and 30% Touriga Nacional


 

Physical and chemical properties:

Alcohol content: 14,5%
Total acidity: 5.60 g /dm3 (in tartaric acid)
pH: 3.72

Vinification: Total crushing, fermentation at 24ºC followed by maceration.

Ageing: 1 month in bottle.

 

Organoleptic properties:

Colour: Garnet colour.
Aroma: Complex aroma with notes of ripe fruit and some mint.
Taste: The palate is elegant and fruity with sweet tannins and present. It should be served at a temperature of 18 º c.
