It is hoped that the Alentejo Wine Route will be much more than simply a map showing a tourist circuit.
By taking advantage of the interest of potential visitors both national and international,in the area of wine tourism and winemaking, the intention is that they will also discover other aspects of regional culture and customsin Alentejo, including the buildings and monuments, the local crafts, the cultural and tourist events, the gastronomy and the people.
