For over thirty years, the estate of Herdade dos Lagos has belonged to the German Zeppenfeld family.
The estate is located in the Lower Alentejo and comprises 25 hectares of vineyards planted with Aragonez, Syrah, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet grape varieties. It also encompasses 80 hectares of olive groves that yield high quality extra virgin olive oil.
Since 2008, the vineyards have been farmed organically in order to produce top quality wines whilst preserving the natural resources.
The wines have won international awards and have been highlighted in a variety of wine magazines.
Sales and marketing are handled by our German office, where each product can be ordered and transported directly to consumers.
