Monte D' Atalaya is a purely family-owned wine project located in Moura, in the heart of Alentejo, born from the desire to redefine the classic profile of the region. Our mission is to challenge the status quo: to prove that in an area traditionally known for extreme heat and heavy wines, it is possible to craft fresh and elegant wines, without losing the Alentejo authenticity.
Our philosophy is based on precision viticulture and prioritizing quality over quantity. We exclusively use night harvests to preserve the natural acidity of the grapes, resulting in gastronomic wines with lower alcohol levels and a great aptitude for the table.
