With the last edition held in 2019, the Alentejo Winegrowing Symposium is an initiative under the responsibility of the Alentejo Regional Winegrowing Commission (CVRA), ATEVA – Technical Association of Alentejo Viticulturists, the Alentejo Regional Coordination and Development Commission (CCDRA) , the Regional Directorate of Agriculture of the Alentejo (DRAPAL) and the University of Évora.

Remember that the event, held every three years since 1988, was previously scheduled for May, having been rescheduled for the 22nd and 23rd of June. The Winegrowing Symposium aims to share knowledge, gather and discuss priority topics that impact the future of the sector, thus promoting the exchange of experiences between professionals from various wine regions of the world.
