Designation: Regional Wine

Grape varieties: Antão Vaz, Arinto e Alvarinho
Winemaking: During the harvest all the grapes are hand-picked and they are transported to the cellar where they are selected on the table of choice, followed by a gentle pressing in a pneumatic press. The grape must was decanted at cold temperature (10ºC) during 48 hours. It was then separated from the lees, inoculated with selected yeast and fermented in french oak barrels with controlled temperature. After the alcoholic fermentation the wine had six month of aging in bâttonage sur lie. 

 

Tasting Notes

Colour: Yellow wine, crystalline.
Aroma:  Complex and elegant aroma with notes of fruit well integrated with the toast from the fermentation in barrel.
Palate: Rich in fruit, refreshing flavor.
