Designation: Protected Geographic Indication (PGI)
Grapes: Touriga Nacional, Syrah, Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira and Cabernet Sauvignon.
Climate: Mediterranean microclimate
Soil: Schist
Winemaker: António Celas

Vinification: Manual harvest during the morning to14kg containers. The grapes are then carefully chosen in the selection tables. Crushing fermentation process during for 6 to 8 days in a winepress at a controled temperature of 24ºC during fermentation process. Paço dos Infantes has aged quietly for 12 months in french oak barrels. Maturation in bottle for one year.

 

Tasting Notes

Colour: Grenade.
Aroma: Ripe fruit.
Palate: Notes of oak, full sense of ripe fruits.
Gastronomy: Stews and roasts.
Consumption: 16-18ºC (recommended temperature)
