Tiago Cabaço Winery

Tiago Cabaço has become one of the most important and respected names amongst the new generation of the Alentejo winemakers.

He was born and raised in Estremoz, in the heart of the Alentejo wine region, and from a very young age he was accustomed to living and working in his parents’ vineyard. He learned all the secrets of grape growing, the names of the grape varieties, what the best soils and climates are for each grape, in other words, all the quirks and the tricks of the trade.

In 2004 Tiago decided to start up his own wine business, clearly demonstrating his convictions, his personality and his way of understanding wine and the Alentejo. A couple of vintages were enough for Tiago Cabaço’s wines to come to receive respect and consideration. National and international awards include Talha de Ouro for the best Alentejo red wine; Best of the Year by the Portuguese magazine Wine - Essência do Vinho, and the Award of Excellence by Revista de Vinhos, amongst others.

Today, Tiago Cabaço is regarded as one of the most promising producers in the Alentejo, offering a selection of wines that are seductive yet serious, modern in style and profoundly Alentejo in character. There are three labels: the youthful and fruity .com, the serious and powerful .beb and the simultaneously vigorous, subtle and fresh blog – the Tiago Cabaço premium wine.
With access to grapes from some of the best and oldest vineyards in the Alentejo, in Estremoz, with the winemaking guidance of one of the best winemakers in Portugal, and with considerable international success, Tiago Cabaço is one of the stars of the new Alentejo.
